Educated at Pratt Institute and graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Nystrom worked for Max Urbahn and Harrison Abramovitz before joining Canal Randolph Corporation as in house architect and real estate broker. There he developed and managed commercial properties in New York, New Jersey and Alabama for thirteen years before establishing his own architectural firm in New York City. This unique experience enables Martin Nystrom to bring skills to a client that set him apart from other architects. Designing a successful project requires problem solving expertise and the ability to understand each client's many specific needs. From working in corporate real estate where profits, property value and income generation are common language, to developing and building his own home in the Catskill Mountains, Martin is able to bring what is needed and valued to any client, whether commercial or residential. With offices in Woodstock and New York City, Nystrom is able to provide to his clients the tremendous advantage of access to architectural support goods and services that can make or break a project, by using the best available in urban and rural resources, the best of both worlds. |
